Solution for Tamil Nadu Government Laptops Booting Problem ..

Remove Grub Loader of Linux and Set Windows Normal Boot loader

      You may have a problem after the installation of  linux(ubuntu or fedora anything else). That is the linux version u installed may removed ur previous windows boot loader.. so that u can not open your windows operating system.. this is a problem caused by ur linux operating system... have a solution for this...follow the steps..


1.All you need is windows installation disc.. Boot it by pressing F12
2.From that open the REPAIR option from the third step of the installation dialogue box.
3.It may ask to select the operating system.. whatever press cancel..
   then it will show  you a list of 6 available troubleshooting methods.. From that select the
       Command Prompt(last option)
4.Then type the following commands to fix that problem..
       "Bootrec.exe/FixMbr" without quotes as exactly... then it will show a message Operation completed successfully... thatz all you finished with getting your windows operating system back to the  normal state.. You can do this from your windows itself , just insert the windows installation disc and type the following command..

C:\WINDOWS CD .. FIXBOOT C: FIXMBR BOOTCFG /rebuild
